3 WAYS TO ENSURE SUCCESS WITH CLIENTS IN 2025

CLARITY
The beginning of any new year heightens the stress and pressure to action lots of things in a timeframe that probably isn’t realistic. Your role as a coach is to be the catalyst between goal and action, collaboratively mapping out a timeline with specific targets. A coach who can instil confidence and motivation is a coach who will see the most success.

COMMUNICATION
The biggest thing I have learnt over many years of delivering online coaching is that clients do not need their hand holding. They have come seeking the highest level of expertise to make progress and are looking for exactly that - a clear plan of action, and clearly communicated expectations. Striking a balance with check-in frequency will ensure the client feels empowered whilst supported, and holds themselves accountable to get the work done. Whilst it may sound counterintuitive, messaging your clients everyday could in fact have the opposite effect - feeling overwhelmed and bombarded.

DESIGN
A programme should be built with the goal of being able to layer UP over a 6-16 week period. Layering up means adding to, therefore upon curation your canvas shouldn’t be ‘full’ in the first weeks of January - it should be at a stage where evolution and progression can take place. Things like managing volume, intensity and making sure the client is thriving are key to cultivating longevity and results.

When coaching your clients for the first few months of 2025, make sure you are nurturing their progression for a highly effective training year ahead - not leaving them uncertain, frustrated or burnt out 8 weeks in!

This week saw us dive into the Running Zone, with yesterday’s Live Webinar covering all things running mechanics, assessments and programme design.

Within the 60-minute session we discussed:
▪️How to programme and integrate plyometrics
▪️How to develop training programmes for clients at their level
▪️How to undulate strength and running concurrently

The intent of the Webinars are to build upon the video lectures and resources inside the Hub. Our primary goal is for our coaches to leave all sessions feeling confident to implement new learnings that will enhance their practice right away.

Meet 1-1 Bespoke Coaching client Jordan 🏃🏽🇺🇸

Jordan first joined MBP back in January, with goals to improve his running performance and hit PBs at Copenhagen Marathon and Chicago Marathon this year.

Working with Coach Ben, Jordan smashed both races with new PBs, including knocking another 5 minutes off at @chimarathon this October!

THIS WEEK INSIDE THE HUB

It’s been almost one month since we first opened the doors, and we’ve shared a lot as to the materials we’ve covered inside the MBP Coaches Education Hub. But how have our Coaches found the experience, and what benefits have they taken from their first four weeks onboard?

Here are some of the key highlights and benefits our Coaches have shared;
